The Rat TTR (Transthyretin) CLIA Kit is specifically designed for the precise measurement of transthyretin levels in rat serum, plasma, and tissue samples. This kit offers superior sensitivity and specificity, guaranteeing accurate and consistent results, making it perfect for various research purposes.Transthyretin is a key protein involved in transporting thyroid hormones and retinol-binding protein, playing a critical role in maintaining proper neurological function and overall health. Dysregulation of transthyretin levels has been linked to various diseases, including familial amyloidotic polyneuropathy (FAP) and senile systemic amyloidosis, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these conditions and potentially developing new treatments.
Overall, the Rat TTR (Transthyretin) CLIA Kit is an essential tool for researchers looking to investigate the role of transthyretin in health and disease in rat models. Its high performance and reliability make it a valuable asset for advancing scientific knowledge and therapeutic development.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat TTR. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat TTR and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rat TTR, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Rat TTR. You can calculate the concentration of Rat TTR in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
