The Rat THP (Tamm-Horsfall Glycoprotein) CLIA Kit is specifically designed for the accurate quantification of THP levels in rat serum, plasma, and urine samples. This kit provides high sensitivity and specificity, allowing for reliable and reproducible results in various research applications.THP, also known as uromodulin, is a glycoprotein found in the kidneys and plays a critical role in renal function and urinary tract health. Abnormal levels of THP have been associated with kidney diseases, urinary tract infections, and other renal disorders, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these conditions.
With this Rat THP CLIA Kit, researchers can easily measure THP levels in rat samples, aiding in the diagnosis, monitoring, and understanding of kidney and urinary tract-related diseases. Get accurate and dependable results with this comprehensive kit from Assay Genie.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat THP. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat THP and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rat THP, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Rat THP. You can calculate the concentration of Rat THP in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
