The Rat TFR (Transferrin Receptor) CLIA Kit is specifically designed for the quantitative measurement of transferrin receptor levels in rat samples such as serum, plasma, and tissue lysates. This kit offers high sensitivity and accuracy, providing researchers with reliable and reproducible results for their studies. The transferrin receptor is a key protein involved in iron metabolism and cellular iron uptake. Abnormal levels of transferrin receptor expression have been associated with various diseases, including anemia, cancer, and neurodegenerative disorders.
By targeting the transferrin receptor, researchers can gain valuable insights into these conditions and potentially develop new therapeutic strategies.Overall, the Rat TFR CLIA Kit is a valuable tool for investigating the role of transferrin receptor in health and disease, providing researchers with the means to advance their understanding of cellular iron homeostasis and its implications for human health.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat TFR1. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat TFR1 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rat TFR1, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Rat TFR1. You can calculate the concentration of Rat TFR1 in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
