The Rat TAT (Thrombin-Antithrombin) Complex CLIA Kit is a highly sensitive and specific assay designed for the quantification of TAT levels in rat serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit provides accurate and reproducible results, making it ideal for various research applications.TAT is a key marker of coagulation and thrombosis, representing the formation and inhibition of thrombin in the blood. Monitoring TAT levels can provide valuable insights into the coagulation cascade and pathological conditions related to thrombus formation, such as sepsis, disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC), and venous thromboembolism.
By utilizing the Rat TAT Complex CLIA Kit, researchers can better understand the mechanisms underlying these conditions and potentially identify new therapeutic targets for intervention. This kit offers a convenient and reliable solution for studying coagulation disorders in rats, contributing to advancements in the field of hemostasis research.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat TAT. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat TAT and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rat TAT, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Rat TAT. You can calculate the concentration of Rat TAT in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
