Rat SP-A (Pulmonary Surfatcant-Associated Protein A) CLIA Kit
The Rat SP-A (Pulmonary Surfactant Associated Protein A) CLIA Kit is a highly specific and sensitive assay designed for the accurate measurement of SP-A levels in rat samples including serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit offers reliable and reproducible results, making it an ideal tool for researchers studying pulmonary surfactant proteins and their role in respiratory health.SP-A is a vital component of the lung surfactant system, playing a crucial role in maintaining lung function and protecting against respiratory infections. Changes in SP-A levels have been associated with various lung diseases such as pulmonary fibrosis, pneumonia, and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), highlighting the importance of studying this protein in the context of respiratory health.
By using the Rat SP-A CLIA Kit, researchers can accurately quantify SP-A levels in rat samples, providing valuable insights into the mechanisms underlying lung diseases and potential therapeutic interventions. The kit's high sensitivity and specificity ensure accurate and reliable results, making it a valuable tool for advancing research in respiratory biology.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat SP-A1. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat SP-A1 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rat SP-A1, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Rat SP-A1. You can calculate the concentration of Rat SP-A1 in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
