Rat MAPtau (Microtubule Associated Protein Tau) ELISA Kit
The Rat MAPTAU (Microtubule-Associated Protein Tau) ELISA Kit is specifically designed for the accurate quantification of MAPTAU levels in rat samples such as serum, plasma, and tissue lysates. With its high sensitivity and specificity, this kit provides reliable and reproducible results, making it a valuable tool for researchers in various fields.MAPTAU is a critical protein involved in microtubule stabilization and neuronal function, with dysregulation of MAPTAU being linked to neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer's disease.
By measuring MAPTAU levels, researchers can gain insights into the pathogenesis of these conditions and explore potential therapeutic interventions.Overall, the Rat MAPTAU ELISA Kit is an indispensable resource for studying the role of MAPTAU in neurodegenerative diseases and advancing our understanding of neuronal function.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat MAPτ. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat MAPτ and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rat MAPτ, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Rat MAPτ. You can calculate the concentration of Rat MAPτ in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
