Rat LOX-1 (Lectin Like Oxidized Low Density Lipoprotein Receptor 1) CLIA Kit
The Rat LOX-1 (Lectin-Like Oxidized Low-Density Lipoprotein Receptor 1) CLIA Kit is a powerful tool for measuring LOX-1 levels in rat samples, including serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit offers exceptional sensitivity and specificity, ensuring accurate and reliable results for a variety of research applications.LOX-1 is a key receptor involved in the uptake of oxidized low-density lipoprotein (LDL) in cells, playing a critical role in the development of atherosclerosis and cardiovascular disease.
Elevated levels of LOX-1 have been associated with these conditions, making it a valuable biomarker for understanding disease progression and evaluating potential therapeutic interventions.By using the Rat LOX-1 CLIA Kit, researchers can gain valuable insights into the role of LOX-1 in cardiovascular health and disease, paving the way for new discoveries and advancements in the field of lipid metabolism and cardiovascular research.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat LOX-1. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat LOX-1 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rat LOX-1, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Rat LOX-1. You can calculate the concentration of Rat LOX-1 in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
