The Rat LEPR (Leptin Receptor) CLIA Kit is specifically designed for the quantitative measurement of leptin receptor levels in rat serum, plasma, and tissue homogenates. This kit offers exceptional sensitivity and precision, delivering accurate and consistent results for various research studies. The leptin receptor, also known as LEPR, is a key protein involved in regulating energy balance and metabolism.
Dysregulation of leptin signaling is linked to obesity, diabetes, and other metabolic disorders, highlighting the importance of studying LEPR levels in experimental models. The Rat LEPR CLIA Kit provides researchers with a valuable tool to explore the role of leptin receptor in metabolic pathways and potential therapeutic interventions.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat LEPR. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat LEPR and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rat LEPR, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Rat LEPR. You can calculate the concentration of Rat LEPR in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
