The Rat Insulin CLIA Kit is a highly sensitive and specific assay designed for the quantitative measurement of insulin levels in rat serum, plasma, and other biological samples. This kit offers reliable and reproducible results, making it an essential tool for researchers studying diabetes, metabolic disorders, and insulin resistance.Insulin is a key hormone that regulates blood sugar levels and plays a critical role in metabolism. Abnormal insulin levels have been linked to various health conditions such as type 2 diabetes, obesity, and cardiovascular diseases.
By accurately measuring insulin levels in rats, researchers can gain valuable insights into the mechanisms underlying these diseases and develop potential therapeutic strategies.Overall, the Rat Insulin CLIA Kit is an invaluable tool for researchers looking to study insulin physiology, metabolic disorders, and potential treatment interventions in rat models.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat INS. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat INS and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rat INS, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Rat INS. You can calculate the concentration of Rat INS in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
