The Rat IL1-alpha CLIA Kit is a highly sensitive and specific assay designed for the quantitative detection of interleukin-1 alpha (IL-1α) levels in rat samples such as serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit offers reliable and reproducible results, making it a valuable tool for researchers studying inflammatory responses and immune system regulation in rats.IL-1α is a key pro-inflammatory cytokine that plays a crucial role in mediating immune responses and inflammatory processes. Dysregulation of IL-1α has been implicated in various diseases, including autoimmune disorders, inflammatory conditions, and infectious diseases.
The ability to accurately measure IL-1α levels in rat samples can provide valuable insights into disease pathogenesis and aid in the development of targeted therapies.Overall, the Rat IL1-alpha CLIA Kit from Assay Genie is an essential tool for researchers looking to investigate the role of IL-1α in rat models and advance our understanding of immune system regulation and inflammatory diseases.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat IL-1α. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat IL-1α and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rat IL-1α, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Rat IL-1α. You can calculate the concentration of Rat IL-1α in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
