Rat ICTP (Cross-linked C-Telopeptide of Type I Collagen) CLIA Kit
The Rat ICTP (Cross-linked C-telopeptide of Type I Collagen) CLIA Kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of ICTP levels in rat serum, plasma, and other biological samples. This kit offers high accuracy and precision, providing reliable results for research on bone metabolism and collagen degradation.ICTP is a specific marker for type I collagen degradation, making it a valuable indicator of bone turnover and bone resorption. Elevated levels of ICTP have been associated with a variety of bone-related diseases, such as osteoporosis and osteoarthritis, making this kit essential for studying these conditions and evaluating potential therapeutic interventions.
With its easy-to-use format and quick assay procedure, the Rat ICTP CLIA Kit is a valuable tool for researchers looking to investigate bone health and collagen metabolism in rat models. Its high sensitivity and specificity ensure robust and consistent results, making it an indispensable asset for any laboratory conducting studies in the field of bone biology.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat ICTP. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat ICTP and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rat ICTP, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Rat ICTP. You can calculate the concentration of Rat ICTP in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
