The Rat HSPG (Heparan Sulphate Proteoglycan) CLIA Kit (RTES00287) is a cutting-edge assay designed for the accurate measurement of HSPG levels in rat samples such as serum, plasma, and tissue lysates. This kit offers superior sensitivity and specificity, allowing researchers to obtain reliable and consistent results for their studies.HSPGs are essential components of the extracellular matrix and play a crucial role in cell adhesion, growth factor signaling, and tissue development. Abnormalities in HSPG expression have been linked to various diseases, including cancer, diabetes, and inflammatory disorders.
Therefore, measuring HSPG levels can provide valuable insights into the pathogenesis of these conditions and help in the development of targeted therapies. With its user-friendly protocol and quick turnaround time, the Rat HSPG CLIA Kit is a valuable tool for researchers investigating the role of HSPGs in health and disease. This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat HSPG. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat HSPG and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rat HSPG, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Rat HSPG. You can calculate the concentration of Rat HSPG in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
