The Rat DMD (Dystrophin) CLIA Kit is a highly sensitive and specific assay designed for the accurate detection of dystrophin levels in rat samples. This kit is suitable for use with serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants, providing reliable and reproducible results for a variety of research applications.Dystrophin is a structural protein that plays a critical role in muscle function and stability. Mutations in the dystrophin gene are associated with Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a severe and progressive muscle-wasting disease. Monitoring dystrophin levels in animal models is essential for studying disease progression and evaluating potential therapeutic interventions.
Whether investigating muscle physiology, studying neuromuscular disorders, or developing novel treatments for muscular dystrophy, the Rat DMD CLIA Kit offers researchers a valuable tool for measuring dystrophin expression in rat models. Its high sensitivity and specificity make it an indispensable resource for advancing our understanding of dystrophin biology and exploring new avenues for therapeutic development.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat DMD. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat DMD and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rat DMD, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Rat DMD. You can calculate the concentration of Rat DMD in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
