The Rat DAT (Dopamine Transporter) CLIA Kit is specifically designed for the quantitative measurement of dopamine transporter levels in rat samples. This kit offers high sensitivity and specificity, ensuring accurate and reliable results for research applications involving dopamine transporter function. The dopamine transporter is a key protein involved in the regulation of dopamine levels in the brain, impacting various neurological processes including reward, motor control, and mood. Dysregulation of the dopamine transporter has been implicated in conditions such as Parkinson's disease, substance abuse disorders, and psychiatric illnesses, highlighting its importance as a biomarker for studying these disorders and potential therapeutic interventions.
Overall, the Rat DAT CLIA Kit provides researchers with a valuable tool for investigating the role of the dopamine transporter in physiological and pathological conditions in rats, ultimately contributing to a better understanding of dopamine-related mechanisms and potential treatment strategies.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat DAT. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat DAT and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rat DAT, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Rat DAT. You can calculate the concentration of Rat DAT in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
