The Rat CX43 (Connexin 43) CLIA Kit is a highly reliable and sensitive assay designed for the quantitative detection of connexin 43 levels in rat samples, including serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit offers exceptional accuracy and reproducibility, making it an essential tool for researchers studying cellular communication and intercellular signaling pathways.Connexin 43 is a critical protein that forms gap junctions between cells, allowing for the direct exchange of ions, metabolites, and signaling molecules. Dysregulation of connexin 43 has been implicated in various pathological conditions, including cardiovascular diseases, neurological disorders, and cancer, underscoring its importance as a biomarker for understanding disease mechanisms and developing targeted therapies.
With its high sensitivity and specificity, the Rat CX43 CLIA Kit provides researchers with a valuable tool for investigating connexin 43 expression levels and function in experimental models, ultimately contributing to advancements in our understanding of cell-cell communication and its role in health and disease.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat CX43. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat CX43 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rat CX43, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Rat CX43. You can calculate the concentration of Rat CX43 in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
