Rat CGRP (Calcitonin Gene Related Peptide) CLIA Kit
The Rat CGRP (Calcitonin Gene-Related Peptide) CLIA Kit is a highly sensitive and specific assay designed for the accurate detection of CGRP levels in rat serum, plasma, and tissue extracts. This kit provides reliable and reproducible results, making it ideal for a variety of research applications.CGRP is a neuropeptide that plays a key role in regulating pain transmission and inflammation. It is involved in a variety of physiological processes, including vasodilation, regulation of blood flow, and modulation of neuronal activity.
Dysregulation of CGRP levels has been implicated in various conditions such as migraine headaches, neurogenic inflammation, and neuropathic pain.By measuring CGRP levels in rat samples, researchers can gain valuable insights into the role of this neuropeptide in different disease states and potential therapeutic interventions. The Rat CGRP CLIA kit offers a powerful tool for studying the intricate mechanisms involving CGRP and advancing our understanding of its role in health and disease.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat CGRP1. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat CGRP1 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rat CGRP1, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Rat CGRP1. You can calculate the concentration of Rat CGRP1 in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
