The Rat Alpha-Glu Alpha-Glucosidase CLIA Kit is a reliable and accurate tool for detecting levels of alpha-glucosidase in rat serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit offers high sensitivity and specificity, ensuring precise and consistent results for a variety of research applications.Alpha-glucosidase is an important enzyme involved in carbohydrate metabolism, specifically in breaking down complex sugars into simpler forms for absorption. Dysregulation of this enzyme has been associated with metabolic disorders such as diabetes and Pompe disease, highlighting its significance as a biomarker for studying these conditions and exploring potential therapeutic interventions.
With its user-friendly protocol and high-performance characteristics, the Rat Alpha-Glu Alpha-Glucosidase CLIA Kit is a valuable tool for researchers looking to investigate the role of alpha-glucosidase in health and disease in rat models.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat α-Glu. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat α-Glu and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rat α-Glu, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Rat α-Glu. You can calculate the concentration of Rat α-Glu in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
