Description
MYSM1 Transcription Factor Activity Assay
The MySM1 Transcription Factor Activity Assay is a powerful tool for researchers looking to study the activity of the MySM1 transcription factor in cellular pathways. This assay kit provides an accurate and reliable method for detecting and quantifying MySM1 activity in cell lysates, serum, or tissues.MySM1 is a key transcription factor involved in regulating gene expression and is known to play crucial roles in various biological processes, including cell differentiation, proliferation, and apoptosis. Dysregulation of MySM1 activity has been implicated in various diseases, making it a valuable target for drug discovery and therapeutic interventions.
With its high sensitivity and specificity, the MySM1 Transcription Factor Activity Assay offers researchers a robust and convenient tool for studying MySM1 function in both normal and disease states. Whether investigating molecular mechanisms or screening potential drug candidates, this assay kit provides accurate and reproducible results, making it an essential component of any research laboratory.

UniProt Protein Function: | MYSM1: Metalloprotease that specifically deubiquitinates monoubiquitinated histone H2A, a specific tag for epigenetic transcriptional repression, thereby acting as a coactivator. Preferentially deubiquitinates monoubiquitinated H2A in hyperacetylated nucleosomes. Deubiquitination of histone H2A leads to facilitate the phosphorylation and dissociation of histone H1 from the nucleosome. Acts as a coactivator by participating in the initiation and elongation steps of androgen receptor (AR)-induced gene activation. Belongs to the peptidase M67A family. MYSM1 subfamily. 3 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing. |
