The Mouse TGF-beta1 (Transforming Growth Factor beta1) ELISA Kit is specifically designed for the accurate measurement of TGF-beta1 levels in mouse serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit boasts high sensitivity and specificity, ensuring dependable and consistent results for a variety of research purposes.TGF-beta1 is a key signaling protein that regulates cell growth, proliferation, and differentiation, playing a crucial role in various physiological processes including immune response, wound healing, and tissue repair.
Dysregulation of TGF-beta1 signaling has been linked to numerous diseases such as cancer, fibrosis, and autoimmune disorders, underscoring its importance as a biomarker for disease progression and therapeutic development. With its reliable performance and wide-ranging applications, the Mouse TGF-beta1 ELISA Kit is a valuable tool for researchers studying the intricate mechanisms of TGF-beta1 signaling and its implications in health and disease.
This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Mouse TGF-β1. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Mouse TGF-β1 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Mouse TGF-β1, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Mouse TGF-β1. You can calculate the concentration of Mouse TGF-β1 in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
