The Mouse TER-119 Monoclonal Antibody (PERCP-CYANINE5.5 Conjugated, AGEL1582) is a vital tool for researchers studying erythroid cells and hematopoiesis. This antibody, derived from mouse monoclonal origins, specifically targets the TER-119 antigen, a marker associated with erythroid lineage cells at various stages of differentiation.TER-119 is commonly used in flow cytometry and immunofluorescence to identify and study erythroid cells, making this antibody an essential component in experiments focused on hematopoiesis, blood cell development, and erythroid lineage analysis.
Its PERCP-CY5.5 conjugation allows for bright, reliable detection in flow cytometry applications, offering precise and accurate results for researchers working with mouse samples.By utilizing the Mouse TER-119 Monoclonal Antibody (PERCP-CYANINE5.5 Conjugated, AGEL1582), researchers can gain valuable insights into erythroid cell populations, hematopoiesis processes, and related disorders, ultimately advancing our understanding of blood cell biology and opening new avenues for therapeutic interventions in hematological conditions.

Background:
The TER-119 antigen is a 52 kD glycophorin A-associated protein, also known as Ly-76. TER-119 is an erythroid-specific antigen expressed on early proerythroblasts to mature erythrocytes, but not on erythroid colony-forming cells (BFU-E, blast-forming unit erythroid, or CFU-E, colony-forming unit erythroid).
