The Mouse PYY (Peptide YY) CLIA Kit is a highly reliable and sensitive assay specifically designed for the accurate measurement of PYY levels in mouse serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit provides precise and reproducible results, making it an essential tool for research in the fields of metabolism, appetite regulation, and gastrointestinal disorders.PYY is a peptide hormone that plays a crucial role in regulating appetite and energy balance. It is released by the gut in response to food intake, helping to signal satiety and reduce food intake.
Dysregulation of PYY levels has been linked to obesity, diabetes, and other metabolic disorders, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these conditions and developing potential therapies. This Mouse PYY CLIA Kit offers a user-friendly protocol, high sensitivity, and a wide detection range, making it suitable for a variety of experimental settings. Researchers can trust in the accuracy and precision of this kit to advance their understanding of PYY biology and its implications in health and disease.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Mouse PYY. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Mouse PYY and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Mouse PYY, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Mouse PYY. You can calculate the concentration of Mouse PYY in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
