The Mouse OPG (Osteoprotegerin) CLIA Kit is a highly sensitive and specific assay designed for the accurate detection of OPG levels in mouse serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit provides reliable and reproducible results, making it an ideal tool for a variety of research applications in the field of osteoporosis and bone health.OPG is a key regulator of bone remodeling, acting as a decoy receptor for RANKL and inhibiting osteoclast formation and activity. Dysregulation of the OPG/RANKL signaling pathway is implicated in various bone-related diseases, such as osteoporosis and arthritis, making OPG a valuable biomarker for studying these conditions and exploring potential therapeutic interventions.
With its high sensitivity and specificity, the Mouse OPG CLIA Kit offers researchers a reliable and efficient means of quantifying OPG levels in mouse samples, enabling detailed investigations into the role of OPG in skeletal biology and the development of novel treatments for bone disorders.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Mouse OPG. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Mouse OPG and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Mouse OPG, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Mouse OPG. You can calculate the concentration of Mouse OPG in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
