The Mouse NK1.1 Monoclonal Antibody, FITC Conjugated (PK136) is designed for cutting-edge research involving NK1.1, a vital cell surface molecule expressed by natural killer (NK) cells that plays a crucial role in immune regulation. This monoclonal antibody, generated in mice, is conjugated with fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), providing bright green fluorescence for precise detection in flow cytometry applications.NK1.1, also known as NKR-P1C, is essential for immune surveillance, tumor eradication, and the modulation of adaptive immune responses. Its pivotal role in immune regulation makes it an invaluable target for research into diseases such as cancer, infectious diseases, and autoimmune disorders.
The Mouse NK1.1 Monoclonal Antibody, FITC Conjugated (PK136), facilitates accurate identification and detailed analysis of NK cells, supporting advanced research in immunology and oncology.Understanding the activity and function of NK1.1 is fundamental for developing therapies that harness or modulate NK cell function. This antibody is an indispensable tool for researchers aiming to explore NK cell mechanisms and advance therapeutic strategies for cancer and immune-related diseases. By enabling precise detection of NK1.1, it significantly contributes to the development of novel immunotherapies and improved treatment outcomes.

Background:
NK-1.1 surface antigen, also known as CD161b/CD161c and Ly-55, is encoded by the NKR-P1B/NKR-P1C gene. It is expressed on NK cells and NK-T cells in some mouse strains, including C57BL/6, FVB/N, and NZB, but not AKR, BALB/c, CBA/J, C3H, DBA/1, DBA/2, NOD, SJL, and 129. Expression of NKR-P1C antigen has been correlated with lysis of tumor cells in vitro and rejection of bone marrow allografts in vivo. NK-1.1 has also been shown to play a role in NK cell activation, IFN-γ production, and cytotoxic granule release. NK-1.1 and DX5 are commonly used as mouse NK cell markers.
