The Mouse NK1.1 Monoclonal Antibody, GenieFluor 488 Conjugated (PK136) is specifically designed for research involving NK1.1, a crucial cell surface molecule expressed by natural killer (NK) cells that plays a vital role in immune regulation. This monoclonal antibody, produced in mice, is conjugated with GenieFluor 488, providing bright and stable green fluorescence for accurate detection in flow cytometry applications.NK1.1, also known as NKR-P1C, is essential for immune surveillance, tumor eradication, and the modulation of adaptive immune responses. Its significance in immune response regulation makes it a valuable target for research into diseases such as cancer, infectious diseases, and autoimmune disorders.
The Mouse NK1.1 Monoclonal Antibody, GenieFluor 488 Conjugated (PK136), facilitates precise identification and in-depth analysis of NK cells, supporting advanced studies in immunology and oncology.Understanding the function and activity of NK1.1 is crucial for developing therapies that harness or modulate NK cell activity. This antibody is an indispensable tool for researchers aiming to elucidate NK cell mechanisms and advance therapeutic strategies for cancer and immune-related diseases. By enabling accurate detection of NK1.1, this antibody significantly contributes to the development of novel immunotherapies and improved treatment outcomes.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. The amount of the reagent is suggested to be used 5 µL of antibody per test (million cells in 100 µL staining volume or per 100 µL of whole blood). Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use.

Background:
NK-1.1 surface antigen, also known as CD161b/CD161c and Ly-55, is encoded by the NKR-P1B/NKR-P1C gene. It is expressed on NK cells and NK-T cells in some mouse strains, including C57BL/6, FVB/N, and NZB, but not AKR, BALB/c, CBA/J, C3H, DBA/1, DBA/2, NOD, SJL, and 129. Expression of NKR-P1C antigen has been correlated with lysis of tumor cells in vitro and rejection of bone marrow allografts in vivo. NK-1.1 has also been shown to play a role in NK cell activation, IFN-γ production, and cytotoxic granule release. NK-1.1 and DX5 are commonly used as mouse NK cell markers.
