The Mouse MBP (Myelin Basic Protein) CLIA Kit is specifically designed for the precise measurement of Myelin Basic Protein levels in mouse serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. With its high sensitivity and specificity, this kit ensures accurate and consistent results, making it a valuable tool for researchers in various fields.Myelin Basic Protein is a key component of myelin, which is essential for the proper functioning of the nervous system. Abnormalities in MBP levels have been linked to demyelinating diseases such as multiple sclerosis, making it a crucial biomarker for understanding these conditions and developing potential treatments.
This CLIA kit provides a comprehensive solution for studying the role of Myelin Basic Protein in neurological disorders and other related conditions in mice, allowing researchers to gain valuable insights into disease mechanisms and potential therapeutic interventions.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Mouse MBP. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Mouse MBP and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Mouse MBP, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Mouse MBP. You can calculate the concentration of Mouse MBP in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
