The Mouse LY-6G/LY-6C (Gr-1) Monoclonal Antibody PE-Cyanine5 Conjugated (RB6-8C5) (AGEL1483) is a groundbreaking tool designed for researchers studying immune cell populations in mice. This monoclonal antibody specifically targets the LY-6G/LY-6C (Gr-1) protein, a marker commonly used to distinguish myeloid-derived suppressor cells and neutrophils. With its PE-Cyanine5 conjugation, this antibody allows for robust and reliable detection of LY-6G/LY-6C (Gr-1) in flow cytometry applications, providing precise and accurate identification of these important immune cell subsets. The RB6-8C5 clone used in this antibody ensures high specificity and sensitivity in binding to the target antigen, enabling detailed analysis and characterization of immune cell populations in mouse models.
By utilizing the Mouse LY-6G/LY-6C (Gr-1) Monoclonal Antibody PE-Cyanine5 Conjugated (RB6-8C5) (AGEL1483), researchers can gain valuable insights into the role of myeloid-derived suppressor cells and neutrophils in immune responses, inflammation, and various disease settings. This antibody is a valuable tool for studies focused on immunology, cancer research, inflammatory diseases, and other fields where understanding immune cell populations is crucial for advancing scientific knowledge and developing targeted therapies.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use. We suggest each investigator should titrate the reagent to obtain optimal results [The recommended concentration is 0.1-1 μg/106 cells in 100 μL volume].

Background:
Gr-1 is a 21-25 kD protein also known as Ly-6G/Ly-6C. This myeloid differentiation antigen is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-linked protein expressed on granulocytes and macrophages. In bone marrow, the expression levels of Gr-1 directly correlate with granulocyte differentiation and maturation; Gr-1 is also transiently expressed on bone marrow cells in the monocyte lineage. Immature Myeloid Gr-1+ cells play a role in the development of antitumor immunity.
