The Mouse and Human CD11b Monoclonal Antibody (PE/Cyanine7 Conjugated) M1/70 (AGEL1109) is a powerful tool for researchers studying immune cells expressing the CD11b molecule. This monoclonal antibody, conjugated with PE and Cyanine7, is specifically designed to target CD11b, a key integrin involved in various immune responses.CD11b, also known as Mac-1, is a cell surface receptor that plays a crucial role in cell adhesion and migration, particularly in the context of inflammation and immune activation. By targeting CD11b, researchers can effectively identify and analyze immune cell populations, such as macrophages, dendritic cells, and neutrophils, in both mouse and human samples. The PE/Cyanine7 conjugation of this antibody allows for easy detection and quantification of CD11b-expressing cells using flow cytometry.
This enables researchers to study the dynamics of immune cell populations in different tissues and disease states, providing valuable insights into the immune response mechanisms. The M1/70 monoclonal antibody is highly specific and validated for use in various applications, including flow cytometry, immunofluorescence, and immunohistochemistry. Its versatility and reliability make it an essential tool for studies focusing on immunology, inflammation, and infectious diseases.Overall, the Mouse and Human CD11b Monoclonal Antibody (PE/Cyanine7 Conjugated) M1/70 (AGEL1109) is a valuable asset for researchers interested in dissecting the roles of CD11b-expressing immune cells in health and disease, paving the way for a better understanding of immune system dynamics and potential therapeutic targets.

Background:
CD11b is a 170 kD glycoprotein also known as αM integrin, Mac-1 α subunit, Mol, CR3, and Ly-40. CD11b is a member of the integrin family, primarily expressed on granulocytes, monocytes/macrophages, dendritic cells, NK cells, and subsets of T and B cells. CD11b non-covalently associates with CD18 (β2 integrin) to form Mac-1. Mac-1 plays an important role in cell-cell interaction by binding its ligands ICAM-1 (CD54), ICAM-2 (CD102), ICAM-4 (CD242), iC3b, and fibrinogen.
