The Mouse/Human CD11b Monoclonal Antibody (Alexa Fluor 488 Conjugated, M1/70) is a specialized antibody designed for research involving the CD11b cell surface molecule. This antibody, conjugated with Alexa Fluor 488 for fluorescent detection, is suitable for use in a variety of experimental techniques. CD11b, also known as integrin alpha M, is a crucial cell adhesion molecule involved in various immune responses, such as phagocytosis and cell migration. This antibody specifically targets the CD11b protein, allowing for precise detection and analysis in both mouse and human cell samples.
With its high reactivity and specificity, this antibody is validated for use in immunofluorescence, flow cytometry, and other molecular biology applications. Its unique ability to target CD11b makes it an essential tool for researchers studying immune function, inflammatory responses, and diseases related to aberrant immune cell activity. Unlock the potential of your research with the Mouse/Human CD11b Monoclonal Antibody (Alexa Fluor 488 Conjugated, M1/70) from Assay Genie.

Background:
CD11b is a 170 kD glycoprotein also known as αM integrin, Mac-1 α subunit, Mol, CR3, and Ly-40. CD11b is a member of the integrin family, primarily expressed on granulocytes, monocytes/macrophages, dendritic cells, NK cells, and subsets of T and B cells. CD11b non-covalently associates with CD18 (β2 integrin) to form Mac-1. Mac-1 plays an important role in cell-cell interaction by binding its ligands ICAM-1 (CD54), ICAM-2 (CD102), ICAM-4 (CD242), iC3b, and fibrinogen.
