The Mouse HIF-1 Alpha (Hypoxia-Inducible Factor 1 Alpha) ELISA Kit is specifically designed for the precise measurement of HIF-1 Alpha levels in mouse serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. With its superior sensitivity and specificity, this kit delivers accurate and consistent results, making it an excellent choice for various research applications.HIF-1 Alpha is a key regulator of cellular response to low oxygen levels, playing a critical role in hypoxia-induced pathways.
Its dysregulation has been implicated in a wide range of diseases, including cancer, cardiovascular disorders, and inflammatory conditions. By accurately measuring HIF-1 Alpha levels, researchers can gain valuable insights into these diseases and potentially identify new therapeutic targets.
This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Mouse HIF-1α. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Mouse HIF-1α and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Mouse HIF-1α, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Mouse HIF-1α. You can calculate the concentration of Mouse HIF-1α in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
