The Mouse GIP (Gastric Inhibitory Polypeptide) CLIA Kit is a specialized assay designed for the accurate measurement of GIP levels in mouse serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit offers high sensitivity and specificity, ensuring consistent and precise results for a variety of research applications.Gastric Inhibitory Polypeptide, also known as glucose-dependent insulinotropic peptide, is a hormone that plays a vital role in regulating insulin release and glucose metabolism.
Dysregulation of GIP levels has been linked to metabolic disorders such as diabetes and obesity, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these conditions and developing novel treatments. The Mouse GIP CLIA Kit from Assay Genie provides researchers with a reliable tool for investigating the role of GIP in metabolic diseases and uncovering potential therapeutic strategies. Get accurate and dependable results with this advanced assay kit.
This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Mouse GIP. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Mouse GIP and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Mouse GIP, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Mouse GIP. You can calculate the concentration of Mouse GIP in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
