The Mouse DMD (Dystrophin) CLIA Kit is specifically designed for the quantitative measurement of dystrophin levels in mouse serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit offers high sensitivity and accuracy, ensuring reliable and reproducible results for a variety of research applications.Dystrophin is a critical protein involved in maintaining the structural integrity of muscle cells. Mutations in the dystrophin gene are associated with Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a severe and progressive muscle-wasting disorder.
The ability to accurately measure dystrophin levels is essential for understanding disease progression, evaluating potential treatments, and monitoring therapeutic efficacy. With the Mouse DMD CLIA Kit, researchers can confidently study the role of dystrophin in muscle health and disease, opening up new possibilities for developing targeted therapies and advancing our understanding of muscular dystrophy and related conditions.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Mouse DMD. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Mouse DMD and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Mouse DMD, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Mouse DMD. You can calculate the concentration of Mouse DMD in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
