The Mouse CRH (Corticotropin-Releasing Hormone) ELISA Kit is a reliable tool for the accurate measurement of CRH levels in mouse serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. With high sensitivity and specificity, this kit provides consistent and reproducible results, making it suitable for various research applications.CRH, also known as corticotropin-releasing factor, is a key hormone involved in the regulation of the body's stress response and plays a critical role in various physiological processes.
Its dysregulation has been associated with conditions such as anxiety disorders, depression, and stress-related diseases, highlighting the importance of studying CRH levels as a potential biomarker for these conditions. This ELISA kit offers a convenient and efficient way to quantify CRH levels in mouse samples, providing researchers with valuable insights into the role of this hormone in health and disease.
This ELISA kit uses the Competitive-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with CRH. During the reaction, CRH in the sample or standard competes with a fixed amount of CRH on the solid phase supporter for sites on the Biotinylated Detection Ab specific to CRH. Excess conjugate and unbound sample or standard are washed away, and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added to each micro plate well and incubated. Then a TMB substrate solution is added to each well. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns from blue to yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The concentration of CRH in tested samples can be calculated by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
