The Mouse CD90.2 Monoclonal Antibody (PE Conjugated, 30-H12) is a valuable tool for researchers studying CD90.2, a cell surface marker commonly used to identify and isolate mouse T cells, stem cells, and other immune cell subsets. This monoclonal antibody, conjugated to Phycoerythrin (PE), offers high specificity and sensitivity in flow cytometry applications, allowing for precise labeling and analysis of CD90.2-expressing cells in various biological samples.CD90.2, also known as Thy-1.2 antigen, plays a crucial role in cell-cell interactions, cellular adhesion, and signal transduction processes within the immune system.
Its expression pattern and functional significance make it a key target for investigating immune responses, stem cell biology, and immunotherapy approaches in preclinical and translational research settings. By utilizing the Mouse CD90.2 Monoclonal Antibody, researchers can gain insights into the behavior and function of CD90.2-positive cells, advancing our understanding of immune regulation and therapeutic development mechanisms in health and disease contexts.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use. We suggest each investigator should titrate the reagent to obtain optimal results [The recommended concentration is 0.1-1 μg/106 cells in 100 μL volume].

Background:
CD90.2 is a 25-35 kD immunoglobulin superfamily member also known as Thy1.2. It is expressed on hematopoietic stem cells and neurons, all thymocytes, and peripheral T cells in Thy1.2 bearing mouse strains (Balb/c, CBA/J, C3H/He, C57BL/-, DBA, NZB/-). CD90.2 is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored membrane glycoprotein involved in signal transduction. CD90.2 is involved in costimulation of lymphocyte proliferation and induction of hematopoietic stem cells differentiation. CD90.2 has been shown to interact with CD45. The 30H12 antibody has been reported to induce Ca2+ flux in thymocytes and, in combination with antibody against the CD3/TCR complex, promote thymocyte apoptosis and inhibit CD3-mediated proliferative responses of mature T lymphocytes.
