The Mouse CD90-2 Monoclonal Antibody (FITC Conjugated, 30H12) is a specialized antibody designed for research applications involving CD90-2, a cell surface marker commonly used to identify and study specific cell populations in immunology and stem cell research. This antibody, derived from mouse hybridoma cells, is conjugated with FITC for easy visualization and detection in flow cytometry and immunofluorescence assays.CD90-2, also known as Thy-1.2, is a glycoprotein expressed on various cell types, including stem cells, lymphocytes, and neurons. Its role in cell adhesion, migration, and signal transduction makes it a valuable target for investigating cellular processes and understanding cell behavior in different experimental settings.
By utilizing the Mouse CD90-2 Monoclonal Antibody, researchers can effectively label, isolate, and analyze CD90-2-expressing cells, facilitating detailed studies on cell function and molecular interactions. With its high specificity and reactivity to mouse CD90-2, this antibody is a reliable tool for researchers aiming to explore cell dynamics, immune responses, and developmental processes in both basic and translational research. Whether investigating stem cell populations, immune cell subsets, or neuronal development, the Mouse CD90-2 Monoclonal Antibody (FITC Conjugated, 30H12) offers a robust solution for precise and detailed cellular analysis in diverse research applications.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. The amount of the reagent is suggested to be used 5 µL of antibody per test (million cells in 100 µL staining volume or per 100 µL of whole blood). Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use.

Background:
CD90.2 is a 25-35 kD immunoglobulin superfamily member also known as Thy1.2. It is expressed on hematopoietic stem cells and neurons, all thymocytes, and peripheral T cells in Thy1.2 bearing mouse strains (Balb/c, CBA/J, C3H/He, C57BL/-, DBA, NZB/-). CD90.2 is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored membrane glycoprotein involved in signal transduction. CD90.2 is involved in costimulation of lymphocyte proliferation and induction of hematopoietic stem cells differentiation. CD90.2 has been shown to interact with CD45. The 30H12 antibody has been reported to induce Ca2+ flux in thymocytes and, in combination with antibody against the CD3/TCR complex, promote thymocyte apoptosis and inhibit CD3-mediated proliferative responses of mature T lymphocytes.
