The Mouse CD90.2 Monoclonal Antibody (30-H12) from Assay Genie (AGEL0341) is a powerful tool for researchers studying CD90.2, a widely recognized marker for mouse T cells and hematopoietic stem cells. This monoclonal antibody, produced using hybridoma technology, offers high specificity and sensitivity for detecting CD90.2 in various cell types and tissues.CD90.2, also known as Thy1.2, plays a crucial role in immune responses and cell signaling pathways. Its expression on T cells and stem cells makes it an important target for immunology, stem cell research, and cancer studies.
By targeting CD90.2, researchers can investigate cell populations, immune function, and cell interactions in both normal and diseased states. The Mouse CD90.2 Monoclonal Antibody (30-H12) is validated for use in applications such as flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, and Western blotting, providing versatility for a wide range of experimental needs. With its reliable performance and specificity, this antibody enables precise detection and analysis of CD90.2 expression, supporting advancements in immunological and stem cell research fields.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is ≤ 2.0 µg per 106 cells in 100 µL volume or 100 µL of whole blood. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.

Background:
CD90.2 is a 25-35 kD immunoglobulin superfamily member also known as Thy1.2. It is expressed on hematopoietic stem cells and neurons, all thymocytes, and peripheral T cells in Thy1.2 bearing mouse strains (Balb/c, CBA/J, C3H/He, C57BL/-, DBA, NZB/-). CD90.2 is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored membrane glycoprotein involved in signal transduction. CD90.2 is involved in costimulation of lymphocyte proliferation and induction of hematopoietic stem cells differentiation. CD90.2 has been shown to interact with CD45. The 30H12 antibody has been reported to induce Ca2+ flux in thymocytes and, in combination with antibody against the CD3/TCR complex, promote thymocyte apoptosis and inhibit CD3-mediated proliferative responses of mature T lymphocytes.
