The Mouse CD69 Monoclonal Antibody (PE Conjugated) H1.2F3 (AGEL1979) from Assay Genie is a powerful tool for researchers studying CD69, a cell surface protein associated with immune activation and regulation. This monoclonal antibody, specifically designed for use in flow cytometry applications, is reactive with mouse samples and provides reliable and accurate detection of CD69 expression in various cell types.CD69, also known as early activation antigen, is a key marker of lymphocyte activation and plays a crucial role in the initiation and regulation of immune responses. Its expression is rapidly induced upon lymphocyte activation, making it a valuable indicator of immune system activation and function. The Mouse CD69 Monoclonal Antibody (PE Conjugated) H1.2F3 (AGEL1979) enables precise and sensitive detection of CD69, allowing researchers to analyze and characterize immune cell activation in different experimental settings.
This antibody is an essential tool for studies focusing on immune responses, inflammation, and immune cell signaling pathways. By targeting CD69, researchers can gain insights into the mechanisms underlying immune activation and function, facilitating investigations into diseases like infections, autoimmune disorders, and inflammatory conditions. The Mouse CD69 Monoclonal Antibody (PE Conjugated) H1.2F3 (AGEL1979) offers high specificity and sensitivity, making it a valuable asset for immunology research and drug development efforts aimed at modulating immune responses for therapeutic purposes.

Background:
CD69 is a 60 kD type II membrane protein composed of a 27/33 kD disulfide-linked homodimer, also known as Very Early Activation Antigen (VEA), AIM, EA1, MLR3, and gp34/28. It is expressed on a subset of thymocytes and platelets. CD69 is rapidly induced on activated T and B cells, neutrophils, and NK cells. It is a C-type lectin, closely related to the NKR-P1 and Ly-49 NK cell activation molecules. CD69 is involved in the early events of cell activation and thymocyte positive selection.
