The Mouse CD69 Monoclonal Antibody (FITC Conjugated) H1.2F3 is a specialized tool for researchers working with CD69, a cell surface protein associated with the activation of immune cells. This antibody, derived from mouse cells, offers high reactivity with mouse samples and is optimized for flow cytometry applications. By targeting the CD69 protein, it facilitates the identification and characterization of immune cell subsets expressing CD69, making it an invaluable resource for immunologists and researchers studying immune responses.CD69 is a well-known marker of early T cell activation and is involved in various immune processes, including lymphocyte proliferation and cytokine production.
Its role in modulating immune responses underscores its importance in studies focused on infectious diseases, autoimmunity, and immune system regulation. Through the precise detection enabled by the CD69 Monoclonal Antibody, researchers can gain insights into the dynamics of immune cell activation and the mechanisms underlying immune system function, paving the way for advances in immunotherapy and disease treatment.

Background:
CD69 is a 60 kD type II membrane protein composed of a 27/33 kD disulfide-linked homodimer, also known as Very Early Activation Antigen (VEA), AIM, EA1, MLR3, and gp34/28. It is expressed on a subset of thymocytes and platelets. CD69 is rapidly induced on activated T and B cells, neutrophils, and NK cells. It is a C-type lectin, closely related to the NKR-P1 and Ly-49 NK cell activation molecules. CD69 is involved in the early events of cell activation and thymocyte positive selection.
