The Mouse CD64 Monoclonal Antibody PE-Conjugated (X54-5/7.1) is a powerful tool for researchers studying immune responses and inflammatory processes. This antibody is specifically designed to target CD64, a cell surface molecule known for its role in immune regulation and response to pathogens. Its high reactivity with mouse samples makes it a reliable choice for a variety of applications, including flow cytometry and fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS).CD64, also known as Fc gamma receptor I, plays a critical role in immune cell activation and phagocytosis by binding to immunoglobulin G antibodies. By targeting CD64 with this monoclonal antibody, researchers can accurately detect and analyze the expression of this receptor in different cell types, providing valuable insights into immune system function and dynamics.
This PE-conjugated antibody offers the added benefit of enabling fluorescent detection, allowing for easy visualization and quantification of CD64-expressing cells. Its versatility and specificity make it an ideal tool for investigating immune responses in various experimental settings, making it particularly valuable for studies in immunology, infectious diseases, and autoimmune disorders.

Background:
CD64 is a 72 kD single chain type I glycoprotein also known as FcγRI and FcRI. CD64 is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily and is expressed on monocytes/macrophages, dendritic cells, and mast cells. The expression can be upregulated by IFN-γ stimulation. CD64 binds IgG immune complex. It plays a role in antigen capture, phagocytosis of IgG/antigen complexes, and antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC).
