The Mouse CD62L Monoclonal Antibody (PERCP/Cyanine5.5 Conjugated, Mel14) from Assay Genie is a cutting-edge tool designed for researchers studying immune cell subsets and migration patterns in mice. This monoclonal antibody specifically targets CD62L, a cell surface glycoprotein involved in lymphocyte homing and adhesion. With its PERCP/Cyanine5.5 conjugation, this antibody offers exceptional fluorescence detection capabilities, allowing for precise and sensitive analysis in flow cytometry applications. The Mel14 antibody recognizes the CD62L antigen with high affinity and specificity, making it a reliable choice for immunophenotyping studies in mouse models.
CD62L, also known as L-selectin, is crucial for the trafficking of lymphocytes to secondary lymphoid organs and sites of inflammation. By targeting CD62L with the Mel14 antibody, researchers can gain insights into immune cell migration patterns, activation status, and homing behaviors in various experimental settings.Whether investigating immune responses, inflammation, or autoimmune conditions, the Mouse CD62L Monoclonal Antibody (PERCP/Cyanine5.5 Conjugated, Mel14) offers a valuable tool for dissecting the intricate mechanisms of immune cell dynamics in mouse models. Trust Assay Genie for high-quality antibodies that empower your research endeavors.

Background:
CD62L is a 74-95 kD glycoprotein also known as L-selectin, LECAM-1, Ly-22, LAM-1, and MEL-14. It is a member of the selectin family and is expressed on the majority of B and naïve T cells, a subset of memory T cells, monocytes, granulocytes, most thymocytes, and a subset of NK cells. CD62L is important in lymphocyte homing to high endothelial venules (HEV) in peripheral lymph nodes and leukocyte 'rolling' on activated endothelium. CD62L also contributes to neutrophil emigration at inflammatory sites. CD62L is rapidly shed from lymphocytes and neutrophils upon cellular activation and the expression levels of CD62L (in conjunction with other markers) have been used to distinguish naïve, effector, and memory T cells. CD62L has been reported to interact with CD34, GlyCAM-1, and MAdCAM-1.
