The Mouse CD45.2 Monoclonal Antibody (PERCP-Cyanine5.5 Conjugated, 104-2) from Assay Genie is a cutting-edge tool for immunology and cell biology research. CD45, a well-established marker of leukocytes, is essential for cell activation and differentiation. This monoclonal antibody is specifically designed for flow cytometry applications, enabling precise identification and analysis of CD45.2-expressing cells in mouse samples. With its PERCP-Cyanine5.5 conjugation, this antibody offers exceptional sensitivity and minimal background signal, allowing for accurate and reliable detection of target cells. The 104-2 clone exhibits high specificity for CD45.2, ensuring robust and reproducible results in experimental settings.
Researchers can confidently use this antibody to investigate immune cell populations, monitor immune responses, and study disease progression in mouse models.By targeting CD45.2, researchers gain insights into immune cell functions, including activation, migration, and communication within the immune system. This antibody is a valuable tool for studying immune-related diseases, such as autoimmune disorders, infectious diseases, and inflammatory conditions. Its versatility and reliability make it an indispensable asset for studies aiming to unravel the complexities of immune responses and identify potential therapeutic targets.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use. We suggest each investigator should titrate the reagent to obtain optimal results [The recommended concentration is 0.1-1 μg/106 cells in 100 μL volume].

Background:
CD45.2 is an alloantigen of CD45, expressed by Ly5.2 bearing mouse strains (e.g., A, AKR, BALB/c, CBA/Ca, CBA/J, C3H/He, C57BL, C57BR, C57L, C58, DBA/1, DBA/2, NZB, SWR, 129). CD45, a member of the protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) family, is a 180-240 kD glycoprotein expressed on all hematopoietic cells except mature erythrocytes and platelets. There are multiple isoforms in the mouse that play key roles in TCR and BCR signal transduction. These isoforms are very specific to the activation and maturation states of the cell as well as specific cell type. The primary ligands for CD45 are galectin-1, CD2, CD3, CD4, TCR, CD22, and Thy-1.
