The Mouse CD45.2 Monoclonal Antibody (PE-Cyanine5.5 Conjugated, 104-2) is a powerful tool for researchers studying immune cells and cell signaling pathways. This antibody, provided by Assay Genie, is specifically designed for detection and analysis of mouse CD45.2, a transmembrane protein highly expressed on leukocytes. The monoclonal antibody is conjugated with PE-Cyanine5.5, a fluorophore that allows for precise and sensitive detection of CD45.2 in flow cytometry applications. With its high specificity and sensitivity, this antibody enables researchers to accurately identify and characterize immune cell populations in a variety of samples.
CD45.2 is a key marker for immune cell identification and activation status, making this antibody an essential tool for immunology research. It can be used in studies focusing on immune responses, inflammation, and immune cell profiling in both healthy and diseased states.Overall, the Mouse CD45.2 Monoclonal Antibody (PE-Cyanine5.5 Conjugated, 104-2) offers a reliable and effective solution for researchers investigating immune cell biology and immunological processes in preclinical and translational research settings.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use. We suggest each investigator should titrate the reagent to obtain optimal results [The recommended concentration is 0.1-1 μg/106 cells in 100 μL volume].

Background:
CD45.2 is an alloantigen of CD45, expressed by Ly5.2 bearing mouse strains (e.g., A, AKR, BALB/c, CBA/Ca, CBA/J, C3H/He, C57BL, C57BR, C57L, C58, DBA/1, DBA/2, NZB, SWR, 129). CD45, a member of the protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) family, is a 180-240 kD glycoprotein expressed on all hematopoietic cells except mature erythrocytes and platelets. There are multiple isoforms in the mouse that play key roles in TCR and BCR signal transduction. These isoforms are very specific to the activation and maturation states of the cell as well as specific cell type. The primary ligands for CD45 are galectin-1, CD2, CD3, CD4, TCR, CD22, and Thy-1.
