The Mouse CD41 Monoclonal Antibody PE-Conjugated (MWReg30) is a vital tool for researchers studying CD41, a marker associated with platelet function and megakaryocyte differentiation. This antibody, derived from mouse hybridoma cells, specifically targets the CD41 antigen and is conjugated with PE for enhanced detection in flow cytometry experiments. Its high specificity and sensitivity make it an excellent choice for investigating platelet biology, thrombosis, and hematopoiesis in both basic research and clinical applications.CD41, also known as integrin alpha IIb, is a key component of the platelet surface receptor complex involved in blood clot formation and hemostasis.
Understanding the role of CD41 in these processes is essential for advancing our knowledge of cardiovascular diseases, bleeding disorders, and thrombotic events. By utilizing the Mouse CD41 Monoclonal Antibody PE-Conjugated (MWReg30), researchers can gain valuable insights into the function and regulation of CD41, paving the way for innovative diagnostic and therapeutic strategies in the field of hematology.

Background:
CD41, also known as integrin α2b and GPIIb, is a transmembrane glycoprotein that is expressed by platelets and megakaryocytes. It was reported that CD41 is also expressed on hematopoietic progenitors. CD41 associates with CD61 (integrin β3) to form complexes that interact with fibrinogen, fibronectin, von Willebrand factor, and thrombin. CD41 is required for platelet adhesion and aggregation. Defect of CD41 leads to disorders of coagulation.
