The Mouse CD38 Monoclonal Antibody FITC Conjugated (NIMR5) is a specialized tool for researchers investigating CD38, a multifunctional cell surface protein involved in immune regulation and cell signaling. This monoclonal antibody, developed using advanced technology, is designed for precise detection and analysis of CD38 in mouse samples. The FITC conjugation allows for fluorescent visualization, making it ideal for flow cytometry and immunofluorescence applications.CD38 is a key player in immune responses, cell adhesion, and calcium signaling pathways. Its diverse functions include regulation of cell activation, proliferation, and differentiation, making it a significant target in immunology and cancer research.
By specifically binding to CD38, this monoclonal antibody enables researchers to explore the expression and localization of CD38 in various cell populations, aiding in the study of immune system dynamics and potential therapeutic interventions.Overall, the Mouse CD38 Monoclonal Antibody FITC Conjugated (NIMR5) offers a valuable tool for unraveling the complex roles of CD38 in immune regulation and disease processes. Its high specificity and sensitivity make it a reliable choice for researchers seeking to deepen their understanding of CD38 function and its implications in health and disease.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. The amount of the reagent is suggested to be used 5 µL of antibody per test (million cells in 100 µL staining volume or per 100 µL of whole blood). Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use.

Background:
CD38 is a 42 kD glycoprotein, also known as T10. It is an ADP-ribosyl hydrolase, expressed on B cells, NK cells, a subset of T cells, brain, muscle, and kidney. In mouse, CD38 expression is downregulated on germinal center B cells and plasma cells, whereas this is not the case for humans. By functioning as both a cyclase and a hydrolase, CD38 mediates lymphocyte activation, as well as adhesion and metabolism of cADPR and NAADP. CD31 is the ligand of CD38.
