The Mouse CD3 Epsilon Monoclonal Antibody (PE/Cyanine5.5 Conjugated, 145-2C11) from AssayGenie, identified by the product code AGEL1319, is a valuable tool for researchers focusing on immune system studies, particularly those involving T cell biology. This antibody specifically targets CD3 epsilon, a cell surface protein that is a key component of the T cell receptor complex. By binding to CD3 epsilon, the antibody enables the detection and analysis of T cells in various experimental settings. The PE/Cyanine5.5 conjugation of this antibody allows for easy visualization and quantification of the target cells, making it suitable for flow cytometry applications.
The CD3 epsilon protein is essential for T cell activation and function, playing a crucial role in the adaptive immune response. Understanding the dynamics of CD3 epsilon expression and signaling is fundamental for unraveling the mechanisms underlying immune responses and immune-related disorders such as autoimmune diseases and infections.Researchers can rely on the Mouse CD3 Epsilon Monoclonal Antibody from AssayGenie for accurate and reliable results in their T cell research, paving the way for new insights into immune system function and potential therapeutic strategies.

Background:
CD3ε is a 20 kD transmembrane protein, also known as CD3 or T3. It is a member of the Ig superfamily and primarily expressed on T cells, NK-T cells, and at different levels on thymocytes during T cell differentiation. CD3ε forms a TCR complex by associating with the CD3δ, γ and ζ chains, as well as the TCR α/β or γ/δ chains. CD3 plays a critical role in TCR signal transduction, T cell activation, and antigen recognition by binding the peptide/MHC antigen complex.
