The Mouse CD23 Monoclonal Antibody PE Conjugated (B3B4) is a highly specific antibody designed for research applications involving CD23, a cell surface molecule known for its role in B cell activation and regulation. This antibody, conjugated with Phycoerythrin (PE), is ideal for flow cytometry analysis and cell sorting experiments. It recognizes the CD23 protein with high specificity, allowing for accurate detection and quantification in mouse cell samples.CD23, also known as Fc epsilon RII, is a key regulator of B cell function and immunoglobulin E (IgE) production.
Its involvement in allergy and immune responses makes it a valuable target for research related to immunology, allergy, and autoimmune diseases. By utilizing the Mouse CD23 Monoclonal Antibody PE Conjugated (B3B4), researchers can gain insights into the expression and activity of CD23 in various cell populations, facilitating studies on B cell biology, immune signaling pathways, and potential therapeutic targets in diseases involving dysregulated immune responses.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. The amount of the reagent is suggested to be used 5 µL of antibody per test (million cells in 100 µL staining volume or per 100 µL of whole blood). Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use.

Background:
CD23 is a 45 kD protein also known as low affinity IgE Fc receptor, FcεRII, BLAST-2, Ly-42, or B6. It is a member of the Ig family, expressed on conventional B (but not B-1) cells and follicular dendritic cells. CD23 responds to high levels of IgE by downregulating IgE secretion.
