The Mouse CD1d Monoclonal Antibody (PE/Cyanine7 Conjugated, 19G11) is a powerful tool for researchers studying the CD1d molecule, a key player in antigen presentation and immune system regulation. This antibody, derived from hybridoma cells, is specifically designed for flow cytometry applications and is validated for use in detecting CD1d in mouse samples.CD1d is a major histocompatibility complex-like molecule that presents lipid antigens to specialized T cells known as invariant natural killer T (iNKT) cells. Activation of iNKT cells by CD1d plays a crucial role in coordinating innate and adaptive immune responses, making CD1d a target of interest in immunology and infectious disease research.
The 19G11 antibody binds specifically to mouse CD1d, allowing for precise detection and analysis of CD1d expression on various immune cell populations. This enables researchers to investigate the function of CD1d in normal immune responses, autoimmune diseases, and anti-tumor immunity.By using the Mouse CD1d Monoclonal Antibody (PE/Cyanine7 Conjugated, 19G11), researchers can gain valuable insights into the role of CD1d in immune regulation and the development of immunotherapies for various diseases and conditions.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use. We suggest each investigator should titrate the reagent to obtain optimal results [The recommended concentration is 0.1-1 μg/106 cells in 100 μL volume].

Background:
CD1d is a type I transmembrane protein and member of the MHC family, with a molecular weight ranging from 43-49 kD, depending on the glycosylation degree. CD1d is expressed by antigen presenting cells such as dendritic cells, monocytes, macrophages and B cells; also expressed by thymocytes and intestinal epithelial cells. CD1d present glycolipids to iNKT cells that recognize them by their Vα14i TCR.
