The Mouse CD1d Monoclonal Antibody (PE/Cyanine5 Conjugated, 19G11) from AssayGenie (Catalog Number: AGEL0819) is a valuable tool for researchers studying immune responses and immunology in mouse models. This antibody specifically targets CD1d, a glycoprotein involved in presenting lipid antigens to natural killer T cells and other T cells. With its PE/Cyanine5 conjugation, this monoclonal antibody allows for easy detection and analysis of CD1d expression in flow cytometry and fluorescence microscopy applications. The 19G11 clone ensures high specificity and sensitivity in binding to mouse CD1d, making it a reliable choice for studying antigen presentation and immune regulation mechanisms in vivo and in vitro.
By using the Mouse CD1d Monoclonal Antibody (PE/Cyanine5 Conjugated, 19G11), researchers can gain insights into the role of CD1d in immune responses, autoimmune diseases, and infectious processes in mouse models. This antibody is a valuable resource for advancing our understanding of immune system function and developing novel therapeutic strategies targeting CD1d-mediated immune pathways.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use. We suggest each investigator should titrate the reagent to obtain optimal results [The recommended concentration is 0.1-1 μg/106 cells in 100 μL volume].

Background:
CD1d is a type I transmembrane protein and member of the MHC family, with a molecular weight ranging from 43-49 kD, depending on the glycosylation degree. CD1d is expressed by antigen presenting cells such as dendritic cells, monocytes, macrophages and B cells; also expressed by thymocytes and intestinal epithelial cells. CD1d present glycolipids to iNKT cells that recognize them by their Vα14i TCR.
