The Mouse CD1d Monoclonal Antibody PE Conjugated (19G11, AGEL0816) offered by AssayGenie is a high-quality antibody designed for research applications involving CD1d, a type I glycoprotein involved in antigen presentation to natural killer T cells. This monoclonal antibody is specifically conjugated to phycoerythrin (PE), allowing for easy detection and analysis of CD1d in flow cytometry and fluorescence microscopy.CD1d is a vital molecule in the immune system, presenting lipid antigens to activate natural killer T cells and regulate immune responses. The 19G11 antibody, derived from mouse hybridoma cells, exhibits high specificity and sensitivity in recognizing CD1d on cell surfaces.
Its PE conjugation enhances signal detection and enables multicolor flow cytometry experiments for more detailed immunophenotyping studies.Researchers studying immune regulation, antigen presentation, and natural killer T cell biology will find the Mouse CD1d Monoclonal Antibody PE Conjugated (19G11, AGEL0816) to be a valuable tool in their experimental work. Its reliable performance and compatibility with various applications make it ideal for investigations in immunology, infectious diseases, and autoimmunity research fields. Trust AssayGenie's antibody to provide accurate and reproducible results for your CD1d-related studies.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use. We suggest each investigator should titrate the reagent to obtain optimal results [The recommended concentration is 0.1-1 μg/106 cells in 100 μL volume].

Background:
CD1d is a type I transmembrane protein and member of the MHC family, with a molecular weight ranging from 43-49 kD, depending on the glycosylation degree. CD1d is expressed by antigen presenting cells such as dendritic cells, monocytes, macrophages and B cells; also expressed by thymocytes and intestinal epithelial cells. CD1d present glycolipids to iNKT cells that recognize them by their Vα14i TCR.
