The Mouse CD1d Monoclonal Antibody (FITC Conjugated) 19G11 (AGEL0149) is a specialized tool for researchers studying immune responses and cellular interactions involving the CD1d protein. This monoclonal antibody, conjugated with FITC for fluorescence-based assays, offers high specificity and sensitivity in detecting mouse CD1d in various experimental settings.CD1d is a key player in the immune system, particularly in presenting lipid antigens to natural killer T (NKT) cells, influencing immune activation and regulation. By targeting CD1d with the 19G11 monoclonal antibody, researchers can effectively label and track CD1d-expressing cells in flow cytometry, immunofluorescence, and other analytical techniques.
This antibody enables precise visualization and characterization of CD1d distribution and expression levels, facilitating investigations into NKT cell biology, lipid antigen presentation, and immune responses. With its validated performance in mouse samples and its FITC conjugation for convenient detection, the Mouse CD1d Monoclonal Antibody (FITC Conjugated) 19G11 (AGEL0149) is an invaluable resource for studies focused on understanding the role of CD1d in immune surveillance, host defense, and autoimmune diseases. Researchers can confidently rely on this antibody to enhance their research capabilities and gain insights into the complex mechanisms governing immune system function.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. The amount of the reagent is suggested to be used 5 µL of antibody per test (million cells in 100 µL staining volume or per 100 µL of whole blood). Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use.

Background:
CD1d is a type I transmembrane protein and member of the MHC family, with a molecular weight ranging from 43-49 kD, depending on the glycosylation degree. CD1d is expressed by antigen presenting cells such as dendritic cells, monocytes, macrophages and B cells; also expressed by thymocytes and intestinal epithelial cells. CD1d present glycolipids to iNKT cells that recognize them by their Vα14i TCR.
