The Mouse CD183 (CXCR3) Monoclonal Antibody - PE/Cyanine7 Conjugated (CXCR3-173) is a specialized tool for researchers delving into the intricacies of CXCR3, a chemokine receptor with essential roles in immune responses and inflammation regulation. This monoclonal antibody, generated for mouse samples, is conjugated with PE/Cyanine7 for fluorescent detection in flow cytometry and other analytical techniques. It specifically targets the CXCR3 protein, enabling researchers to identify and study CXCR3 expression in diverse cellular contexts, making it a valuable asset for investigations in immunology and inflammatory diseases.
CXCR3 is a key player in directing immune cell migration and activation in response to various stimuli, including infections, autoimmune disorders, and cancer. Understanding the functions and signaling pathways associated with CXCR3 is pivotal for unraveling the complexities of immune responses and developing targeted therapies for conditions where CXCR3 dysregulation is implicated. By using the CXCR3-173 antibody, researchers can gain insights into the dynamics of CXCR3 expression, localization, and activation, paving the way for advancements in immunotherapy and disease treatment strategies.

Background:
CD183/CXCR3, also known as CXCR3, is a member of the C-X-C chemokine family, characterized by a pair of cysteine residues separated by a single amino acid. CXCR3 is a 38 kD seven pass transmembrane receptor coupled to G-protein. It mediates Ca2+ mobilization and chemotaxis in response to C-X-C chemokines, such as IP10 (CXCL10), MIG (CXCL9), I-TAC (CXCL11) and PF4 (CXCL4). CXCR3 is expressed primarily on activiated T lymphocytes, NK cells, and some epithelial cells and endothelial cells. It is not expressed on B cells, monocytes or granulocytes.
